Lonely Lunch
I’ve been lunching alone for over a week. (But yesterday i BEG GGL to come lunching with me. So nice of him)
My lunching colleagues were all resigned and new colleague was already on leave for a week (still dont know when she will be coming in because her dad was in hospital - ICU). I really got nobody to lunch with. Sound so pathetic.
Today, me eating lunch alone… again.
Seeing people eat lunch happily, i missed those moments i was eating with my ex-colleagues, either from current company or the last company i was in. Really enjoy their company.
Advantages of lunching alone.
1. Definitely choose restaurant which near to office, typical example: mamak stall. Therefore, it will save time.
2. Wont be eating expensive lunch, u will be wanting something simple and fast.
3. No late for work as no one chat with me, I will just eat and leave. Normally will just ta pau(take away) and eat at office. So, save $$$$$.
4. Boss happy - last time we used to be going back late due to the jam, unexpected accident, chatting over time and bla bla bla… Now, eating alone, sure no late.
Biggest disadvantage
1. As stated at the title - LONELY
2. Getting autistic. Lack of communication and interaction.
3. Not much chances to go out off office, in resulting - me dying of dead air in office.
The impact of disadvantages is a lot greater than those little advantages to me. haha, i know i may be overacting. Just that, the office is really dead! kakaka.

Me almost everyweek also got few days that I have lunch alone lah. What’s the big deal?? More freedom mah. And after lunch (I eat very fast, can kaotim in 10mins), i just take my sweet time by walking around the area to visit some bookstores or bank. Breath more fresh air (even sweating) then only go back office for the dead air…

Haiyer, I have been having lunch/dinner for 2-3 years already. Didn’t join my housemates for meals for quite sometime. :)
Just takes time to get used to it only mah.

reon: if u know how dead is UE3 also, u wont say that to me..Very big deal la.. tot of get out of the office dead air, dim ji nothing interesting at around office area… if i still work at mid valley, u wont see this post at all.. :p
